A Guide to Understanding the Attraction Law
Is life just a random string of unrelated events and inescapable circumstances? Do good things come to us merely by accident? Do we futilely continue to make powerless decisions, even though there’s no way of knowing what will happen? One school of thought says that there are no coincidences or accidents, that we create our reality through our thoughts and our actions. By harmonizing thoughts, wants and actions with certain universal laws of nature, it’s plausible we can then affect the outcome of our lives. Of all the universal principles, the most important is the universal law of attraction, or attraction law.
It is believed that a person can get what he or she desires, acting as a living magnet, attracting energy to bring in positive results. While the concept may sound abstract, many people have found ways to visualize and become a law of attraction gateway.
One problem that individuals often face with the attraction law is that they think they are concentrating on their desires, however they are in fact sabotaging themselves. For instance, someone may say, “I want to meet the ideal mate… however he probably does not exist” or “I want to purchase a house… however I’ll never have the money for a down payment.” Before the universe can act in response to the person’s request, the energy is cut short by the source and the longing falls dead on arrival. Instead, the person needs to release positive feelings of desire and think about accomplishment, instead of expecting failure. This is fundamental to comprehending the laws of attraction.
Universal law dictates that we radiate energy and emotions outward and, in turn, the universe vibrates these things back to us in return. Too often however, we try to figure out how and when we’ll receive what we ask for, but we must learn to let go and allow the universe to supply us with what we need. We must let go of doubt and negativity, instead replacing it with confidence and gratefulness.
The attraction law is another maxim of the New Thought movement (1904-1910) that focused on the notion of thought manifesting reality. The book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill captured widespread acclaim in 1937. In their law of attraction books, authors like Wallace Wattles, Robert Collier and Helena Blavatsky applaud this concept as the quintessential truth to health, happiness and fulfillment. In 2006, The Secret re-popularized the idea with the release of The Secret DVD and book.
The basic idea behind the universal laws of attraction is that you get what you ask for with the power of your mind. Even the things you are not actively thinking about affect what you get. Discovering the law of attraction secret might change your life profoundly.
